Founders Profile and Background
Nomvula Shale is the fourth child of the late Mr. Bernard Shale and Mrs. MaNzuza Shale, she was born in 1973 October 10 at KwaMashu Polly-Clinic. She grew up in KwaMashu M Section with all her siblings. Nomvula had 3 brothers and 5 sisters. She is blessed with two children and two grandchildren. In her early twenties, she found out that she was HIV positive at the age of 23 in 11 November 2011.
It was so hard to accept but through the Sinikithemba Support Group that was based at McCord Hospital, she managed to get the skills of how to accept her HIV status. It was so hard to forgive the person who infected her, but with the help of Pastor Siziwe Chili who taught us about forgiveness and the power of forgiving, that is where she learned that forgiving releases healing.
